SWAN congratulates Jideaka, Niyi, Obasi and Dupe on well-deserved appointments

The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, SWAN FCT Chapter congratulates the quartet of Mr. Richard Jideaka, Mr. Niyi Busari, Mr. Michael Obasi and Ms. Dupe Oyewale on their recent appointments by the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF and Federal House Committee on Sports respectively.

Mr. Richard Jideaka was appointed as member of the Futsal/Beach Soccer Committee of the NFF while the trio of Mr. Busari, Mr. Obasi and Ms. Oyewale were appointed by the Chairman, House Committee on Sports, Hon. Ekene Adams Abubakar, as Media Aides.

The chairman, Mr. Bunmi Haruna congratulates the quartet. According to him, "I wasn't surprise with their appointments. They deserve them because they have done well in their various assignments in the past."

Mr. Jideaka works with the Complete Sports and he is also a Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL Match Commissioner. He was also the Secretary General of National SWAN, amongst others.

Mr. Niyi Busari on the other hand is the publisher of BSN Sports Concept, an online media. He is an hardworking young man who has done very well in the profession and for the Association.

Mr. Michael Obasi is also an experienced Sports Journalist who has been on Hot FM Abuja talking Sports and he is currently the Anchor of the Radio Sports Show Roughkick Radio Show on Hot FM Abuja.

He has worked as Media Aide to former Plateau State Governorship Aspirant and Chairman of Giwa FC, Ambassador Chris Giwa. He is also a Media Consultant to Water FC Academy.

Ms. Modupeola Oyewale is also a seasoned Sport Journalist on radio, before now, she was the Team Coordinator of the Under 17 Women's National Team, the Flamingoes.

The chairman concluded by saying the quartet have served the Association in various capacities well and they were very diligent and committed.

He however wished them the best, while charging them to contribute their quota so as to make the association proud in their new assignments.
