Sacchi: Osimhen Yet To Show His Enormous Potentials

Veteran Italian coach Arrigo Sacchi has expressed his concerns for Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, whom he said was yet to display his enormous qualities since joining Napoli, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

In an interview with Gazzetta Dello Sport, the former Azzurri coach talked about the Nigerian while giving his candid opinion on the new Serie A season which kicked off at the weekend.

"I am very curious to see Osimhen at work. He has enormous potential, in my opinion, but he's yet to express them. A year of Spalletti's training, both on a technical and behavioural level should have served him to improve and get closer to being that leader that Napoli needs," Sacchi said.

Sacchi has also tipped AC Milan to win the Scudetto. "Milan are favourites because they won the last championship and because they are playing well.

"Inter and Juve, at least in Italy, are always very dangerous and have strengthened with Di Maria, Bremer, Kostic and Pogba. 

"Finally, to undermine Milan, I also put Roma. Not only for the arrival of Dybala, who is an important player, but Mourinho is also a very good communicator, he knows how to manage the environment which is the weak point of Roma because it is easy for enthusiasm and depression. And then, among the possible surprises, pay attention to Gasperini's Atalanta this season, as they are not playing in Europe."
