Nigeria's Super Eagles forward, Sadiq Umar, opened his goal account for La Liga side Valencia in their 1-1 draw against Villarreal on Saturday evening, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Sadiq joined the Mestalla-based club during the winter transfer window on loan from Real Sociedad.

The home side took the lead in the 32nd minute through Gueye, sending the fans into celebration.

However, Sadiq, who came on as a substitute for Hugo Duro in the 55th minute, made an immediate impact by scoring the equalizer in the 84th minute.
