Salisu Yusuf: Draw In Benin Vital For Nasarawa United Survival

Nasarawa United head coach, Salisu Yusuf has described the draw with Bendel Insurance as vital in their survival quest, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Solid Miners secured a crucial point against the Benin Arsenal after it ended one apiece in a 2024/25 Nigeria Premier Football League match-day 34 clash at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin, Edo State.

He said: "This is a vital away point for my team. They have really done well. Insurance gave us a great match, very competitive, but we ended up with a draw, despite creating lots of chances."

Sunday's result sees United reaffirming their poise to remain afloat in the Premier League, despite beginning the current campaign on a weak note, as they are now placed 15th on the log with 43 points from 34 games.
