Saudi Arabia, Mozambique Games Good Test For Super Eagles - Unuanel

Former Kwara United coach, Samson Unuanel has revealed that he expects the upcoming international friendlies against Saudi Arabia and Mozambique to serve as a good test for the Super Eagles, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

While speaking, Unuanel expressed that the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has done a great job to put together the two friendlies games. 

“Playing Saudi Arabia and Mozambique will serve as a good test for the Super Eagles," Unuanel said. 

 "However, with the upcoming games ahead of their 2026 World Cup qualifiers which will kick start in November.

“It will afford Jose Peseiro the opportunity to bond the team and also identify other areas that can be improved."

The Super Eagles will face Saudi Arabia on Friday, 13 October, before clashing with Mozambique on Monday, 16 October.

Both friendly games are part of preparations for the Eagles for next month’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and Zimbabwe.
