Former Nigeria international, Odion Ighalo, scored his fourth goal of the season in Al Wehdah's 2-1 victory over Al Fateh in the Saudi Pro League on Thursday evening, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Since joining the Gulf region, the ex-Watford forward has become a key figure in the league.

The 35-year-old Nigerian was perfectly positioned to convert a trademark finish, giving Al Wehdah a 2-0 lead in the first 30 minutes of the match.

Al Fateh pulled one back midway through the second half, but Al Wehdah held on to secure the full three points.

Despite a challenging season, Al Wehdah has moved out of the relegation zone for now, with Ighalo having scored 4 goals in 14 appearances this campaign.
