Schedule For Rivers United's Outstanding Games Revealed!

The Nigerian Professional Football League has announced the dates for the three outstanding fixtures for the reigning champions, Rivers United, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Recall that the Pride of Rivers featured on the continent in the CAF Confederation Cup, but was ousted by Young Africans of Tanzania in the tournament's quarterfinals.

The feature resulted in some of Rivers' domestic games being postponed to accommodate the Continental playoffs, including an away trip to Wikki Tourists, and two home games to Sunshine Stars and Doma United.

The away fixture against Wikki Tourists of Bauchi will be played today, Thursday 11th of May, while the home games against Sunshine Stars of Akure and Doma United will go down on Monday 15th, and Thursday 18th of May, 2023.

Rivers currently sit second in Group B with these games in hand and will confirm their Super Six Participation with at least a win from the three games.
