School Sports Festival Holds In 8 Centers In Abuja

The preliminary of the Secondary School Sports Festival has been scheduled to hold in different eight centers from Thursday 22nd February to 2nd March, 2024.

 The preliminary phase of fiesta shall commence at the eight zones; Abaji, Kwali, Tungan-maje, Gwagwalada, Kuje Tudun Wada, Karshi and Dutse, this Thursday, that's February 22nd and end on March 2nd, 2024.

Furthermore, there shall be a Break from 4th - 9th of March, 2024.

The Finalé, which will feature the Zonal Champions of the various sporting events, has been slated to hold from (Monday) March 11th - 14th (Thursday).

 The FCT Minister of State, Dr. Mariya Mahmoud Bankure is scheduled to flag off the finalé, while the Senior Minister, Barrister Nyesom Ezenwo Wike will grace the closing ceremony.

To this effect, the organizing committee has written to the Federal Ministry of Sports Development, seeking their approval for the use of the Main Bowl of the MKO Abiola National Stadium, Abuja, and its adjoining facilities.
