Sampson Adedeji
Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Cyril Dessers made all the headlines on Wednesday evening after firing a brace in Rangers 3-1 win over Ross County, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Before the game, the former US Cremonese attacker had 12 goals and was the club's top scorer.
His goals took the Gers to the same point with rival Celtic on top of the table.
“I’m in a good place right now and I want to stay there,†said Dessers.
I think I am coming to a lot of good positions to score, a lot of chances like today and then it’s all about the efficiency.
“If we can get it up or I can get it up even more then I can provide a lot of goals for the team and the rest of the season.â€
Dessers has made 35 appearances for Rangers since joining the club from Cremonese and has added 7 assists to his return of 14 strikes.
