Scottish Premier League: Dessers Up For Club Player Of The Month

Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Cyril Dessers has been nominated for the Rangers Player of the Month award for January, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Dessers joined the Gers last summer from the Italian side US Cremonese and despite having a rough start, he seems to have stabilised himself in the team.

Rangers recorded a 100 per cent record in January and the Nigerian international scored 3 goals and had one assist.

He was nominated for the award alongside goalkeeper Jack Butland, John Lundsteam, John Souttar and Ridvan Yilmas

Dessers made the Super Eagles provisional list for the ongoing African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast but failed to make the final list.
