Scottish Premier League: Dessers Yet To Reach His Potential - Rangers Coach

Newly appointed Glasgow Rangers coach Philip Clement has said that Nigeria's Super Eagles forward Cyriel Dessers is yet to attain his full potential with the club, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Dessers joined the Scottish Premier League side this summer from the Italian Serie A side US Cremonese.

Since his arrival, the former Genk of Belgium attacker has posted an average performance for the Gers and the club has failed to live up to expectations.

The below-par performance of the club led to the sacking of Michael Beale as the manager of the team.

As the Scottish League is set to resume this weekend after the International break, Clement is already looking to get the best from the Nigeria International.

 â€œI have seen him[Dessers] play better in the Netherlands. He did better at Feyenoord than here[Rangers] so far, in my opinion,” Clement said.

The last time Dessers scored for Rangers was against Motherwell in their 1-0 victory.
