Scout Report: Oluwaseyi Falodun, Hidden Diamond In Nigeria Team

Former Flomat FC player, Oluwaseyi Falodun was the cynosure of all eyes during the Flying Eagles two weeks screening in Abuja. His timely and calculated approach to the ball, his touches and positioning on off the ball set him above others. Like a golden fish in the ocean, his outstanding performance, calmness and final passes in the opponents third half made the watchers fell in love with his style of play.


He effortlessly won the hearts of fans who were at the FIFA Goal Project during the screening.


The Jossy FC defensive midfielder Falodun was impressive in Flying Eagles two wins in the last two friendly matches played in Niamey before the group B opener against Ghana.


Oluwaseyi has been decsribed by many players and coaches who abe watched him play as hidden diamond in the team.


Elated Falodun who was one of the 23-man list to for the Flying Eagles at the WAFU B Championship was happy for making the team list. He was excited over their 2-0 win over Ghana at the GSK Stadium, Niamey, Niger Republic.


"I feel elated because nothing is better than representing your country and I give all the glory to Almighty God," he told BEN Sports before their departure for Niamey, Niger Republic.


He added, "I just want to do my best and show the coaching crew my ability, make the family and the whole country proud.


"I believe Nigeria is one of the best footballing countries within Africa if not the best and I believe the coaches have the tactical know how together with the quality of the players within camp and with our determination and courage we will be able to qualify for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.


On his target as a footballer, the exciting playmaker added: "I believe I can go very far within this career and I want to play for one of the 5 best teams in the world and with my dedication and hard work I want to win the world's best player one day."


Seven–time African champions, the Flying Eagles after their 2-0 win over Ghana will play their last group match against Burkina Faso on 11 May, 2022.
