Seamoriow Football Academy Battles Kedge Sport FC In First Test Match

Seamoriow FA will on Monday at the Union Bank Sports complex take on Kedge Sport FC in a friendly match, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The match will be coach Olagbaju Dele's first match and will offer him an opportunity to assess the team that he's been building since he assumed position of Technical Director and Consultant to Seamoriow Sports.

Sometimes in September, Olagbaju was appointed as Technical Director and Consultant of the Seamoriow FA. 

His previous stint includes working as Technical Adviser at Stationery Stores and TikiTaka football Academy Nigeria, a team he led to the Gothia Youth Cup on three occasions where he won one edition of the Gothia youth cup and also made a final appearance against Right To Dream in 2017 with that side to the Gothia cup in 2017 producing now Royal Antwerp star, Alhassan Yusuf.

Days after his appointment, a test assessment exercise which saw players from across the country throng the Seamoriow Sports complex for a chance to be recruited into the Seamoriow U-20 side was conducted with about 100 players given a chance to showcase their skills. A total of 25 players was shortlisted and another 3 on standby list.

Coach Dele will now have an opportunity to further evaluate the players in a test match against Kedge Sport FC. 

The match comes up Monday October 15, 2023 by 4pm at the Union Bank Sports Complex.
