Semi Ajayi Suffers Another Injury Setback, Awaits Scan Results

Nigeria’s Super Eagles and West Bromwich Albion defender, Semi Ajayi, faces another lengthy spell on the sidelines after sustaining another injury on Saturday, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Ajayi had only recently returned to action after several months out due to a previous injury.

He featured for the Baggies in their 2-0 victory over Oxford United but was forced off late in the first half with what appeared to be a hamstring issue—his second such injury this season. 

The match marked just his second appearance since undergoing surgery and spending over three months recovering.

West Brom now awaits scan results to determine the severity of the defender’s latest setback.
