The Senegal Football Federation (FSF) is facing a deepening internal crisis following a dispute over the management and distribution of bonuses linked to the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), BSNSports.com.ng reports.

At the centre of the controversy is an escalating power struggle involving FSF president Abdoulaye Fall and a bloc of 16 Executive Committee members, who have raised concerns over what they describe as a lack of transparency in handling the AFCON-related funds.

Sources within the federation indicate that disagreements over financial accountability have intensified in recent weeks, with the dissenting members demanding clearer documentation and explanations regarding the allocation of the bonuses. 

The situation has reportedly strained relationships at the highest level of Senegalese football administration.

The crisis has exposed broader governance challenges within the federation, as accusations of mismanagement and poor communication continue to circulate.
