Senegal President Sends Message To Morocco

Senegalese President Bassirou Diomaye Faye has expressed profound appreciation to the Kingdom of Morocco for the successful hosting of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, praising the country’s organization and hospitality throughout the tournament, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

In an official message, President Faye commended the Moroccan authorities and people for their commitment to delivering a memorable continental showpiece.

“I express my deepest thanks and great gratitude to the brotherly people of the Kingdom of Morocco for the tremendous efforts in organizing the Africa Cup of Nations,” President Faye said.

He further extended his appreciation on behalf of Senegal to Morocco’s leadership, acknowledging the warm reception accorded to the Senegalese delegation and other participating nations.

“On behalf of the Senegalese people, I extend sincere appreciation to His Majesty King Mohammed VI and to the Moroccan people for their warm reception, hospitality, and the great care given to our delegation and all participating teams,” he added.

The 2025 AFCON in Morocco has been widely lauded for its high organizational standards, modern infrastructure, and passionate fan engagement, reinforcing Morocco’s reputation as a leading host for major international football events in Africa.
