Senegal Tame Indomitable Lions, Join Cape Verde In Round 16

Defending Champions Teranga Lions of Senegal underlined their readiness to defend the trophy as they thrashed the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon 3-1, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Ismaila Sarr put Senegal ahead in the 16th minute before Habib Diallo netted the second goal in the 71st minute while Castelletto reduced the deficit for the indomitable Lions in the 83rd minute.

Sadio Mane made the game safe for the champions with the 3rd goal in the 95th minute and ensured a maximum points for his team.

Senegal joined the Blue Shark of Cape Verde who had earlier in the day qualified for the round of 16 after hammering Mozambique 3-0.
