Serie A: Lookman Scores Debut Goal In Atalanta Win

It was a day to remember for Nigeria's Super Eagles winger Ademola Lookman in the Italian Serie A as he scored for his new club Atalanta, BSNsports.com.ng reports.

The former Everton player joined the Serie A side this summer following a good outing for the English Premier League club Leicester City.

Lookman started the day on the bench as Sampdoria hosted Atalanta on the opening day of Serie A.

Toloi scored the opening goal in the 25th minute to ensure that the away side was on the driver's seat going into halftime.

The Nigeria International was introduced in the 63rd minute for Muriel and had the ball in the net in the 89th minute but VAR overruled the goal.

He later scored a legit goal in the 95th minute to give Atalanta a maximum point.
