Udinese produced a magnificent performance on Saturday to edge Bologna 3-0 in a Serie A game, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Apart from the result, Nigeria's Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye was the cynosure of all eyes as he made his debut in the encounter.

The young goalkeeper joined the Serie A club this summer from the English Championship Watford FC and his only for Udinese this season was in the Coppa Italia against Cagliari.

He was thrown into the fray on Saturday against Bologna and he was never disappointed as he put up a stunning save to deny Bologna and ensured a clean for the host.

Okoye was not included in the final squad of the Super Eagles for the upcoming African Cup of Nations after he asked to be excused from the team.
