Serie A: Nigeria Forward On Target In 10-Man Cremonese Draw

The survival hope of Italian Serie A side Cremonese suffered a huge blow on Sunday afternoon as they were held to draw at home by Hellas Verona, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Cremonese has been on the rise lately after suffering a series of defeats earlier in the season.
They played Verona at home on Sunday and it was the Nigeria forward David Okereke that scored the opening goal in the 9th minute of the game.
The host returned to the locker room with the lead and started the second half searching for a second goal.
The goal scorer Okereke was replaced in the 71st minute by his compatriot Cyril Dessers.
Verona leveled the game up in the 75th minute through Verdi and ended the game 1-1.
The draw put Cremonese in the 19th position with 20 points from 32 matches.
