Relegation-threatened Cremonese eased their worry on Wednesday night as they held AC Milan to a 1-1 draw in a league match, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Nigeria international David Okereke lived up to the billing and he was the hero for the club again.

Okereke who has just recovered from an injury started the game on the bench as the first half ended goalless.

He was introduced to the game in the 56th minute and he opened the scoring for his club in the 77th minute of the encounter.

The former European champions Milan was able to rescue a draw as they netted an equalizer in the 93rd minute to end the game 1-1.

Okereke who also scored last weekend has now hit 7 goals in 29 games for Cremonese.
