Serie A: Okoye Reveals Udinese’s Target For the Season

Despite Udinese's recent dip in form in the Italian Serie A, Nigerian goalkeeper Maduka Okoye has shared the club's goal for the remainder of the campaign, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Okoye, who recently returned to action after undergoing surgery, has reclaimed his position as the team’s starting goalkeeper.

Speaking to TuttoUdinese, the Super Eagles shot-stopper revealed that Udinese are aiming to finish the season in the top 10.

“Our goal is to maintain tenth place. We need to refocus and regain our strength,” he said.

"We’re frustrated, but even in the four losses, we had chances. There were many positives we can build on moving forward.”

So far this season, Okoye has made 19 appearances and kept three clean sheets for the Italian side.
