Serie A: Osimhen Didn't Get Enough Support - Napoli Boss

The manager of the Italian Serie A champion Napoli Rudi Garcia has attributed the defeat to Victor Osimhen not getting enough support from the team midfield, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The champion suffered a surprise 1-3 home defeat to Fiorentina with Nigeria's Super Eagles forward Osimhen scoring the team consolatory goal.

While speaking on the game, Garcia made it clear that Osimhen was left isolated in the attack and they failed to capitalise on the error noticed in the Fiorentina defence 

“I wanted a high press and when Victor is left one-on-one against a high line, he can be devastating. We didn’t find him enough, we were not able to make the most of those situations,” explained Garcia.

The defeat against Fiorentina is the second home defeat for Napoli this season.
