Serie A: Osimhen Set To Be Out Of Action For A Month

Nigeria's Super Eagles and Napoli striker Victor Osimhen is set to be out of action for 4 weeks or more due to the injury he sustained during the UEFA Champions League match against Liverpool, BSNSports.com.ng has gathered.

The energetic attacker was subbed off just before halftime of the match played at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium in which Napoli won 4-1.

According to Calciomercato the Partenopei have confirmed a second-degree lesion in the striker’s right bicep.

The Nigeria international has already begun his recovery and he won’t return to action before the September break, meaning that he will miss matches against Spezia.

Osimhen is expected to be back in the Serie A home clash against Bologna on October 16 or away at Roma the following weekend, on October 23.
