Napoli will face Fiorentina on Friday in the Italian Serie A and is likely to be without its number one striker Victor Osimhen, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigerian International suffered a muscle strain earlier in the week and he has been training separately from the team.

Since Monday Osimhen underwent therapy and personalised training in the gym.

According to the update from the team camp, the chances of the Super Eagles forward taking part in the game against Fiorentina this is very slim.

Osimhen is expected to recover in time to be part of the Super Eagles team for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against South Africa and Benin.
