Serie A: Osimhen Undergoes Medical, Starts Pre-season With Napoli

Amid several interests from top European clubs, the Nigerian International striker Victor Osimhen on Tuesday resumed training with the Italian Serie A side Napoli, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Osimhen arrived at Castel Volturno the training ground of Napoli on Tuesday morning to undergo medical examinations with Napoli and start the pre-season under Antonio Conte.

Osimhen is not expected to remain at the Stadio Maradona beyond the summer, but he hasn’t yet received formal offers to leave the club.

The Super Eagles forward was among the first players to arrive at Napoli’s training centre on Tuesday morning.

Conte is prepared to part company with Osimhen, as the coach explained in his first press conference.
