Atalanta's coach Gian Piero Gasperini has praised Super Eagles winger Ademola Lookman for his performance this season, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Atalanta secured a 0-2 away over Empoli who had Super Eagles defender Tyronne Ebuehi in their lineup.

The Italian praised Lookman for his performance and contributions to the team this season.

" Lookman has scored five goals and always gave a strong contribution to the team. He has technique, and pace, and is a player any coach would be happy with. 

"We realised pretty quickly what he was capable of, he was convincing from the start", he said.

The Nigeria International is expected to be in action next weekend when Atalanta hosts the league leaders Napoli in Bergamo.
