Serie A: We Will Miss Osihmen - Napoli Boss Admits

The manager of the Italian Serie A champion Napoli Rudi Garcia has admitted that the club will miss the services of the injured Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Osimhen sustained a hamstring injury during the international friendly between Nigeria's Super Eagles and the Green Falcons of Saudi Arabia.

He was unable to finish the game and also missed the second friendly game against Mambas of Mozambique on Monday.

After the MRI Scan, it was confirmed that Osimhen would be out for a month.

Garcia while speaking on the situation, said the club would miss contribution to the team and they would have to get a replacement for him.

“We need all our players fit and ready to play and Osimhen out is a big loss for the team,” Garcia told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“He is an important player to the team and we must find a solution in his absence", he stated.

Osimhen has scored 65 goals and 15 assists in 111 games for Napoli.
