Nigerian youngster Seun Ogunsakin has secured a place in the quarter-finals of the doubles event at the Wimbledon Championships after an impressive victory on Wednesday, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Ogunsakin teamed up with Botswana's Ntungamili Raguin to defeat the American duo of Safir Azam and Vihaan Reddy in the junior doubles competition.

The African pairing dominated the opening set 6-1 before their opponents fought back to claim the second set 6-3.

However, Ogunsakin and Raguin responded brilliantly in the deciding match tie-break, cruising to a commanding 10-1 victory to seal their place in the last eight.

The win marks another significant milestone for Ogunsakin, who continues to make history with his impressive run at one of tennis' most prestigious junior tournaments.

The Nigerian will now shift his focus to the quarter-finals as he aims to continue his remarkable campaign at Wimbledon.
