Sevilla Sporting Director Backs Adams To Return Stronger

Sevilla's Sporting Director, Victor Orta, has expressed confidence in Nigerian forward Akor Adams, assuring fans that the striker will bounce back stronger from his injury setbacks, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Adams, who joined the La Liga side from French Ligue 1 club Montpellier during the winter transfer window, has been limited to just four league appearances due to persistent muscle injuries. His latest setback may rule him out for the rest of the season.

“He’s had two muscle injuries, despite never being injured before,” Orta said, as quoted on the club’s official website. “What Akor has suffered is unfortunate, but we will analyze why these injuries happened. We have great faith in him.”

The injury also prevented Adams from joining the Super Eagles for the recent World Cup qualifiers.
