Sfinstul Next League Match Against Zimbru, A Must Win - Maxmillian

Nigeria U23 invitee, Maxmillian Ihekuna is optimistic that his club, Sfinstul Gheorghe will pick the needed three points when they host Zimbru 22nd April 2023, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

He added that the players have braced up to pick maximum win in their next league match against Zimbru.

"A win in that match will see Sfinstul leapfrog Zimbru on the log. So, the players and officials know how important the game is and all hands are on the deck in making sure that they defeat Zimbru." He told BSN Sports 

Sfinstul Gheorghe held Zimbru to a goalless draw in the first leg of the league, however a win for the host in the second leg will see them leapfrog Zimbru to 3rd on the log. Zimbru are placed third with 7 points with +1 goal difference while Gheorghe have garnered 4 points with -1 goal difference. So, a win with more than two goal-margin will see them go third on table.

Zimbru will also feature a fellow Nigerian (a striker) - Emmanuel Alaribe who is the other payer that travelled to Moldova to join first division clubs about three years ago from the same grassroots club in Abuja - Olympic Hybrid Football Club. This also explain the personal target of winning the game that Maxmillian has set for himself to earn a bragging right over his fellow country man.
