Shakeup In Enyimba As Eguma Steps Aside

Ibrahim Lateef

Enyimba has made significant changes to its coaching staff following the decision to have the club’s Technical Adviser, Coach Stanley Eguma, along with his two assistants, Ndubuisi Nduka and Joseph Boma, step aside until further notice.

This decision follows a series of poor and unsatisfactory results.

BSNSports.com.ng sourced that the development was communicated to Coach Eguma in a letter issued after an emergency management meeting held just hours after the disappointing loss to Wikki Tourists FC in the NPFL match on Sunday at the Enyimba International Stadium in Aba.

The changes took immediate effect, while the Aba Elephants conducted a thorough review of their disappointing performance and explored ways to improve.

In swift reaction, the management has appointed one of the assistant coaches, Lawrence Ukaegbu, to take interim charge of training sessions and preparations for the upcoming match against Katsina United in Jos on Sunday.
