In a stunning development, Ghanaian side Hohoe United have officially withdrawn from the Ghana Premier League with just seven matches remaining in the current season, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The club’s decision comes after a turbulent campaign that has seen them struggle near the bottom of the table. 

After 27 matches, Hohoe United were positioned 17th, second from bottom, with 30 points.
