Shooting Stars, Enyimba, Kogi United and Rangers Advance in President Federation Cup

The men’s Round of 64 fixtures in the 2026 President Federation Cup delivered a mix of dominant victories, dramatic penalty shootouts and walkover results as clubs battled for places in the next stage of the competition, BSN Sports.com.ng reports.

Among the standout results, Shooting Stars secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Kebbi United, while Akwa United comfortably defeated Wilbros FC 3-0.

Rivers United advanced with a 2-0 win against G12 FC, and Enugu Rangers edged Godswill Akpabio FC 1-0 to book their place in the next round.

Former champions Enyimba FC produced one of the most emphatic performances of the round, defeating El-Sharma FC 4-0.

Several matches were decided via penalty shootouts after regulation time ended level. Kogi United stunned Lobi Stars 8-7 on penalties following a goalless draw, while Bida Lions eliminated Beyond Limits with a 4-3 shootout victory after a 1-1 draw.

Kwara United also needed penalties to overcome Sporting Supreme U19 after a 2-2 draw, eventually winning 4-2 from the spot.

Elsewhere, Plateau United defeated Ahudiannem FC 2-1, while Nasarawa United recorded a 3-1 victory over Westgate FC.

A number of fixtures ended in walkovers, including wins for Mighty Jets, FC Basira, Gombe United, Warinje FC and Jigawa GS.

The Round of 64 action continues on Thursday with two remaining fixtures scheduled across Anyigba and Makurdi.
