Slavia Prague Manager Praises Super Eagles Newcomer Igoh Ogbu

Slavia Prague manager Jindřich Trpišovský has praised Super Eagles' new recruit, Igoh Ogbu, following another impressive performance in the Czech Republic Premier League, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Ogbu played a key role in Slavia Prague’s recent victory over Jablonec, capping his display with a goal.

Speaking to the club’s official website, Trpišovský acknowledged the defender’s growth and importance to the team.

“Igoh usually marks the opponent’s best player and dominates duels. He has become more composed recently, and I believe this was his first goal with his left foot in his career,” he said.

 “He timed everything perfectly and executed it well. He is a crucial player for us, and his performances far exceed his current market value. If he played in a foreign league, his price would be much higher. He has developed into a complete player.”

Ogbu is now set to join the Super Eagles camp in Kigali ahead of the upcoming World Cup qualifier.
