Spalletti The Ideal Coach For Me- Osimhen

Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has heaped praises on Luciano Spalletti after he said that the Italian is the ideal coach for him despite him been sent off from Napoli's training on Sunday, BSNSportscom.ng reports.

According to reports from Napoli's Castel di Sangro camp, there was mild tension after Spalletti sent Osimhen off for dissent in training.

The players were having a game between ranks in full view of the supporters when Osimhen became enraged at what he thought was a foul from new teammate Leo Ostigard.

The Super Eagles forward continued to protest so much that after Andre Zambo Anguissa tried to calm him down, Spalletti told him to leave the field.

“You are talking too much, go and have a shower.”

It didn’t help relax the situation, as Osimhen continued the protests even after walking off.

Speaking with Corriere dello Sports, the Nigerian praised Spalletti: "He is a top coach: every day he tries to motivate me and make me make the most of the potential I have. I think he is the ideal coach for me at this stage."
