Spanish Iberdrola: Gift Monday Thrilled To Score In Tenerife Draw

Nigeria's Super Falcons forward Gift Monday is in cloud nine after scoring in UDG Tenerife draw against Eibar, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Spanish Iberdrola game was held on Sunday afternoon with Tenerife playing at home and Nigeria international leading the line.

It was the away side who scored first before Monday pumped up to level up the game for her club. 

" I'm glad to have scored a goal for UDCA Tenerife in our draw against Eibar! Despite the result, I'm proud of our team's fighting spirit. We'll keep improving! Better days ahead", she said.

Monday is expected to be part of the Falcons team for the upcoming Olympics in Paris.
