Standard Of Women Goalkeeper Has Improved In Africa - South African Goalkeeper

Following the exploits of Nigeria's Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie at the just concluded Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand, Bayana Bayana of South Africa goalkeeper Andile Dlamini has admitted that there is a massive improvement in the department in the continent, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigerian international was the cynosure of all eyes at the Mundial with a superb performance in all the games.

Dlamini who was voted best goalkeeper at the 2024 Women's African Cup Nations in Morocco said they just need to have more young female goalkeepers in Africa to improve their performance.

"I really think the standard of women’s football goalkeeping is improving in Africa.

 "We just need more young female goalkeepers to follow in our footsteps so that our department can be even more solid” said the shot-stopper.
