StarTime/NPFL: Rivers United Embark On A Week Break

Following the conclusion of the 2023/2024 of the Nigeria Premier Football League, Rivers United has embarked on a break, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Pride of Rivers ended the season with a defeat to Akwa United at the Goodswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.

The General Manager of the club Okey Kpalukwu expressed his gratitude to the players for their commitment to the team.

Rivers United started the season on a sound note and they were able to reach the quarter-final of the CAF Confederation Cup where they lost to RS Berkane of Morocco.

The manager announced a week break for the team and confirmed that the resumption date to be 3rd of July, 2024.
