The Assistant Coach of Abia Warriors, Igwe Madubuike, has said that despite cementing their Premiership status, the Umuahia Warlords will still approach the game with Doma United with all the seriousness it deserves, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

After a hard-fought victory over Kano Pillars in the semi-final encounter of the 2024 President Federation Cup tie, Abia Warriors have arrived in Gombe, preparatory to their Matchday 38 game against Doma United, in the Nigeria Premier Football League.

The Matchday 38 fixtures will be the last football games of the 2023/2024 NPFL season for Abia Warriors and the other Premier League sides.

His words: "It's not going to be a mere formality match. We are going to approach it with all seriousness because we want to end well in the league table."

The match comes up on Sunday, 23rd June 2024, at the Pantami Stadium, Gombe, by 4 pm.
