Enyimba FC attacker, Bernard Ovoke has set sights on securing a spot in the continent for next season, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

The People's Elephant are currently competing in the Nigerian Premier Football League and are aiming to finish in the top three to qualify for either the CAF Champions League or the CAF Confederation Cup.

Ovoke believes that Enyimba has the quality to achieve this goal and is confident that the team will perform well in their remaining fixture. 

He stated that the players are highly motivated and determined to secure a spot in continental football.

"Well, we have one final game to play, just like every other team. The important thing is until it is over, it is not over.

"We will go back home and pick our pieces and see what we can get from the this final game of the season to consolidate our continental ticket for next season. Maybe we can bounce back, and that will be a good thing for us."

Enyimba FC are currently 3rd on the table with 60 points, two behind Remo Stars who occupies second position and the final champion league slot with 63 points while the People's Elephant are just a point ahead of Shooting Stars who are on 59 points.

The People's Elephant will this weekend welcome Plateau United who are two points behind and are also fighting to get the last continental ticket slot.
