StarTimes/NPFL: Ilechukwu Targets 70 Points Haul With Rangers

Fidelis Ilechukwu of Rangers International has set sights on hitting the 70-point mark to end the season on a winning note, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The Flying Antelopes, who would be crowned champions of the 2023/2024 NPFL season are already in Jos with the full complement of its playing staff as it engages Gombe United in the last fixture of the season with its eyes set on ending the season on a high and fly back to the Coal City with the giant trophy.
Ilechukwu, ‘The Building One’ who has led the likes of M.F.M F.C and Plateau United to runner-up positions in the past would be testing his first league triumph with Rangers and is optimistic of a grand finish to the season.
"It is not easy to be a champion and I thank Enugu state governor, Dr. Peter Mbah for his dedication to our aspirations as well as the G.M/CEO of the club, Barrister Amobi Ezeaku, who has done very well in motivating the team at all times just as we can’t forget the strong support from our fans all over the world.
"The game in Jos is significant to us because we want to win every game. We want to see Rangers hit seventy points, we are on 67 points right now. No match is a small match and we shall approach the match against Gombe United with all the respect it deserves but with the mindset of winning."
