StarTimes/NPFL: Organizers Demand Extra Security Ahead 3SC, Rangers Clash

The board of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has mandated Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan to ensure extra security and crowd control measures at the Lekan Salami Stadium for Wednesday's match against Rangers International, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

Both sides will clash in the mid-week fixture of Match Day 36 of the 2023/2024 NPFL season as they league approaches its final stages. 

Recall that during the Oriental Derby match day 34 between Rangers and Enyimba at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, fans encroached the pitch leading to an abandonment. 

In a related development, the encounter between Doma United and Sunshine Stars has been rearranged due to the road accident involving Doma United. The new date for the game is on Wednesday, June 19, 2024.
