Sunshine Stars midfield marshal, Osimaga Duke has expressed delight after ending the 2023/2024 NPFL season without injury, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

Duke, who made 36 appearances for the Owena Whales expressed gratitude to God for making it possible for him to achieve the great feat and thanked the fans for their support. 

"I thank God for the season and all he has done for me. From the beginning of the season, there was no injury.

"I thank the management of Sunshine Stars and the fans, coaches and my teammates. The fans were behind us all the season and I must commend them for believing in us."

Sunshine Stars, who battled for survival in the just concluded season finished in the 10th position to maintain their NPFL status.
