Start-Rite School Wins Yoshi-Dubai-Abuja Schools Football Tournament

Start-Rite International School has won the 2024 Yoshi-Dubai-Abuja football tournament for Primary schools BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

The competition, which kicked off on 14th September, 2024 at the Astro Turf, Accra street, Wuse Zone 5, Abuja had 8 registered schools that were drawn into two groups with four schools in each.

Their journey to the final began with a 3-1 victory over Esteem Learning followed by a 2-0 win over Creative Kids and a 3-0 win against Raberto in the group stages. 

In the semi-finals, Start-Rite got the better of Starfield 2-0 before thrashing Raberto 5-0 in the final. 

At the end of the competition, Mshelia Bilal of Start Rite School emerged highest goal scorer with 10 goals.

The Results: Group A. 

Olumawo 1-2 Great Heights, Starfield 5- 3 Voyage, Olumawu 1-1 Starfield, Great Heights 0-2 Voyage, Voyage 1-0 OlumawoS, tarfield 0-0 Great Heights. 

Group B: Creative Kids 0-7 Raberto school, StartRite 3-1 Esteem Learning, Creative Kids 0-2 StartRite, Raberto 0-0 Esteem learning, Creative Kids 0-0 Esteem Learning, Raberto 0-3 StartRite 

Semi Finals: StartRite 2-0 Starfield,  Voyage -1-1 Raberto (3-2) penalty 

Final: StartRite 5-0 Raberto
