Startime/NPFL: Sunshine Stars Condemned To Beat Gombe United - Osimaga Duke

Sunshine Stars defensive midfield marshal, Osimaga Duke has declared that his team is condemned to beat Gombe United to avoid relegation, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

The Owena Whales face a tricky tie against Gombe United at the Pantami Stadium in a match day 34 NPFL encounter. 

According to him, all hands must be on deck to secure the maximum points adding that failure to do that will spell doom for the club. 

"We will come all out in our match against Gombe United because we need the points. We need to get the points because if we don't win the match, we are going down fully.

"The management, players, backroom staff and everybody should bring out their best in this match against Gombe United. It is very important for us."

He went further to say that the 2024 President Federation Cup has allowed Sunshine Starso to win a silverware at the end of the season. 

"The match against Rivers United was very important to us. FA Cup is a competition that can shock anybody at anytime. Despite being down in the league, we can get to the final."
