Lanky striker Chijioke Mbaoma is set to miss the crucial league game against Rivers United on Sunday in Aba, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The People's Elephants will host the Pride of Rivers in Match Day 34 of the Startimes / Nigeria Premier Football League at the Enyimba International Stadium.

Mbaoma was replaced in the early minutes of the Federation Cup game against Sokoto United due to injury.

The skillful attacker is expected to undergo a late fitness test to ascertain his fitness level for the game.

He's currently the joint-top scorer in the league with 14 goals.
