Startimes/NPFL: NFF Refs Committee Steps Down Haruna Abdullahi From Officiating

Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Refereeing Development Committee/Unit has stepped down Haruna Abdullahi from the 2023/24 Nigeria Premier Football League, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
This was contained in a letter addressed to Abdullahi through the Jigawa State Football Association, signed by Mohammed Ameenu.
According to the letter with the subject: "Stepped Down From NPFL Matches", the Jigawa State referee was found culpable for his inability and judgement to identify offside positioning and offense in the goal scored during the game between Doma United and Lobi Stars in a match day 34 NPFL encounter.
The letter reads: "In view of your judgement and inability to identify offside positioning and offence that led to a goal scored in Match no 331 involving Doma United FC and Lobi Stars FC played on 1st June 2024 in Gombe.
"Your action adversely affects the outcome of the match and thus, I am directed to notify you that you have been stepped down with immediate effect from the league until further notice."
