State Govt Visits Injured Rivers Angels Players In Hospital

The Sole Administrator of Rivers State, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas, has reaffirmed his administration's commitment to supporting Rivers Angels Football Club, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
During a hospital visit on Thursday to injured players Peace Effiong and Blessing Ifitezu, who underwent surgery at a private facility in Port Harcourt, Ibas pledged continuous support for the team.
Represented by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Sports, Sir Emma Ndah JP, Ibas assured the players that the government has cleared their hospital bills and wishes them a speedy recovery. Ndah also stated that the government expects the team to continue achieving victories in the upcoming season.
The Rivers Angels Football Club has been a source of pride for the state, consistently showcasing exceptional talent and dedication in the women's game.
Vice Admiral Ibas' visit demonstrates his administration's appreciation for the team's efforts and commitment to providing necessary resources for their continued success.
