Suns Basketball Academy Emerge Champions Of Be Happy Basketball Tournament

The Suns Basketball Academy of Jos have emerged champions of the 2024/2025 edition of the Be Happy Basketball Tournament in Bauchi, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

They defeated Adamawa Stars 78-49 to win the trophy in a grand style.

Also, Mak-Town Flyers defeated the defending champions, Joe Gees to finish third. 

At the end of the exciting tournament, Rayyan Salis won the MVP and highest scorer.

The most improved player went to Modupe Lawrence (Mak-Town Flyers. Thomas Agoh of Mak-Town Flyers won the Best Defensive player while the Best 3 point shooter went to Solomon Illiya of Be Happy Stars.

Recall that the main sponsor of the tournament, Alhaji Danjuma Suleman Wunti had said the basketball tournament stands out from others due to its mission of developing basketball at the grassroots level.

Also, the co-sponsor of the tournament from Six Towers Construction, Bashir Isa, said that he is supporting the competition as a means of giving back to society towards providing a platform for the next generation to showcase their talents.
